The southern gate of the city wall is good. Before Christmas, it is part of the Christmas market in Munich.

Pleasant place at the old city wall, good for strolling or for having something to eat or drink. Don't forget to take a picture.

Not that much to see but it is still a landmark in Munich which is very popular, close to the center's main attractions. So when in neighborhood pay a quick visit. During winter nice little Christmas market here.

This is an old, historic gate. If you like seeing old architecture, you can stroll by, as it's pretty close to the center of the city.

A central meeting point at the top end of the pedestrian area. Normally in the summer there is a large fountain. But at this time of the year an outdoor skating rink is created, with public view areas and hot punch to keep everybody warm
