Love beer than you'll love this place!

Beer was tasty and you can walk up to the counter to get a beer. We found service in Germany poor so this way there was no wait time :)

Be sure to visit this park in summertime. It is surely one of the most beautiful and quiet places you can find in munich - with all its flowers, bushes and trees. The Diana temple is situated in the middle of the park and sometimes you will find couples dancing in the evening. Relax from the stress in the big... More

Good place to rest a little while you are at historical Centrum and you'll visit more monuments. Has a great view of Residenz Munchen and Bayerische Staatskanzlei.

The Hofgarten is the large garden located in the middle town Munich city between Residenz and "Englischer Garden Park". Since 1570 the Hofgarten belongs to the Residenz Palace, it's the most romantic park, today is popular for Tourists, to get there by public transport to " Odeon Station"

Any city park is great for some fresh air and space from busy crowds. Hofgarten was at the far end of one of our self-guided walks around the city and looked like it would be especially pleasant in summer. As we were there in December we could only stay a little while before needing to get up and move before... More

Just behind the Munich residence and great place for chilling out and relax. If you like, grab a beer or have some food nearby.

Probably different in summer, but on a cold winters day there was nothing to inspire us apart from the realisation of grandeur that the garden is part of the residenz. Hanging over you is the shadow of the Nazi period of Munich's history

A very clean and neat parc sourrounded by historical buildings with a clam decorated pavillion in the middle. It has several small fountains to cool your feet in the Munich hot summer and many niches with benches to take a sunbath, a nap, read a book or just relax. In summer you also find some Boule players there you can... More

This was a nice park to take a walk in. Good atmosphere and not too far from the city centre. Would recommend.
