I write this review in english, because the locals know very well, where to go there. Tourists normally go to the Chinese Tower, which is in the southern part of the English Garden. But its worth to cross the bridge over the Mittlerer Ring and visit the other half of the park. There is a nice beer garden just in... More

This is so well organised and such a breath of fresh air compared to the mayhem you will witness in some outdoor eateries / barbeque / Alfresco venues (especially in the UK) There is an abundance in selection of food and wide choice in beers.. all well displayed with prompt service and generous helpings.. I even found Fish for those... More

Me and my fiancée visited here on our first day in Munich and absolutely loved it. The beer garden by the Chinese Tower is huge, with incredible food and beer on offer, along with live local music most of the day. If you go there and buy beer, you get given a token. This gives you one euro back if... More

You must visit the English Garden! Very nice. It is a big park with a lot of people during summer! Good food and beers at the Chinese Tower.

Beautiful park with lots of places to explore and things to see. The food bar near the Chinese tower was overpriced and ran out of food in the evening so there weren't many options.

English garden is a nice park in a terrific city! It's wide, clean, good for jogging or just to stay and relax. Around Chinese tower is very pleasant place to drink a beer and eat something. And, surprise, you can see some surf near downtown. It's amazing!

We enjoyed watching all the people enjoying the warm weather by the river. They actually had people surfing on one part of the river. Away from the river you can enjoy a quiet peaceful walk.

Visited the English Garden on a beautiful sunny day and it was packed full of people! Such a great atmosphere, so much space to sunbake, relax, play games or swim in the river. Beer garden in the garden was so much fun! The whole park was just full of activities you could lose yourself in here for a whole day!

Very well maintained with nice paths. This is a large park with plenty of trails. A great break from a busy city. Some nice rivers flowing the park.
