Thgis is located behind some walls and not easy to find but it is an impressive old building in a courtyard. It served as a palace for of the Wittelsbachs.Since 1816 it has served as a governmebt office.

Really good food and service! A traditional German place, with healthy options. Close to city center, in a charming old building with character.

A great walk to see facades that you do not see in the US. Interesting information and views as you step back hundreds of years in the past for Bavarian history.

I did a few tours with Sandeman and this was a stop with the free walking tour and the Third Reich tour. Did you know Hitler wanted to be a painter and painted this? I didn't!

It is on your walking route through Munich. No need to plan an extra outing, but if you pass it, the have a closer look. It's one of the remaining historic old buildings in town.

One of Ludwig's prettiest castles and just loaded with gold! It would take about an hour to get through all the areas and the gardens.

This is a castle built in the 12th century and the first residence of the Wittelsbach rulers. In the inner courtyard, you can see an interesting "glass window/tower" structure called the "Monkey Tower".
