So unbelievable that the Glockenspiel could be built in the time it was and with such precision, one of the many wonders of the world for sure. The Marienplatz itself is so special. No trip to Munich is complete without visiting here.

Twice a day, the glockenspiel go on for about 10 minutes, and it is a must see. It can be crowded at this time, but you should definitely make sure you see it as it is very unique.

People stand around for hours for the clocks to chime and the characters to start dancing. The mechanical show is not spectacular, but it is cutely enchanting. You can also grab one of the seats in the nearby cafes/restaurants or just squat down on the square for a better looksie.

It's truly amazing this building is still standing given how many bombs struck the city of Munich. It only goes off twice a day I believe so check the times so you wont be disappointed. It's touristy but worth it in my opinion,

We were lucky enough to get seats in one of the restaurants in the square just before the glockenspiel started. It's very pretty to watch. Not to be missed

At 11 am, noon and 5 pm the glockenspiel attracts thousands to watch a mechanical show featuring gladiators with lances during a start-to-stop 7-minute show. There is plenty of space in the square for the onlookers. Make sure to keep your valuables (wallets, etc.) secure while your attention is focused on the tower. Pickpockets are sure to be near. The... Its in northern part of Marienplatz and has good shopping centers nearby. The Rathaus-Glockenspiel, performed by an apparatus daily at 11am, 12pm and 5pm, is a tourist attraction

We ran the last few feet to make it just on time for the 5PM show. Great 10-13 minutes of entertainment in Munich. Plan your day careful because the show is only 3 times a day. (11,12, 5)

The Glockenspiel is very large. It only goes off I believe twice a day - once at 11:00 and once at noon. The plaza is full of people at those times.
