In the Marienplatz, you will have a hard time missing the Glockenspiel which is a newer addition to the Town Hall. It was built in 1908 and it, along with the Town Hall miraculously dodged any massive damage during WWII. In nicer weather, watch the show daily at 11am, noon and 5pm while having a beer or some wine at... More

Set in the heart of the city centre right next to the metro station. I'm unsure what time of day the figures move, but I'm sure it would have been nice to have seen.

Well worth a visit to see the Glockenspiel here. Eight minutes of chimes and dancing figures. It makes you feel you're in some kind of 1960's continental mystery movie! I loved it.

We stood in the square for an hour just watching the sites, taking photos and then watching the clocks 'performance' - TWICE!

This is out of a fairy tale. You have to be there at 12 noon to see the dancing characters. In the warmer weather, there are plenty of outside cafes adjacent to the Rathaus to drink a beer, eat some sausage and watch the people.

I've visited here several times and I never lose fascination with this mechanical clockwork wonder. Stop in one of the local cafes and grab a bite with some bier or Bavarian wine and grab a seat on the curb or sidewalk just prior to noon. It is not Game of Thrones or some video marvel, but a very unique piece... More

Just stare up and get lost in this building, you may travel the world and still find it hard to track down such amazing architecture anywhere else in the world.

The façade was lovely, but the time piece in the tower was not working, but it was great to see. There are few sites like this.

Well, you could look up one of the many videos for the glockenspiel, or you could see it person. It was fun to watch. Be sure to check the visitor's information for times. They are different for every season.

Famous and exciting for all the foreigners over the world. Sometimes crowded but it's worth visiting this.
