Just walking around makes you feel good here. So much to see, eat and people watch. I was here the week after Octoberfest. I can imagine how much fun that would be.

Love the Marienplatz and surrounding old town. Shops, restaurants, cafes, and so many sights. You can wander around for a whole day!

It was a fun place to visit. Lots to see. There is a lot of shopping. Most of the shopping is high end until you walk outside the platz and there is more local shopping to one side and more regular shopping to the other.

We did not pay to walk around it. It hosts the mayor and city council. We had lunch at the historic restaurant, Ratskeller.
