This Protestant church is an impressive structure, and it can clearly be seen from a distance. It is quite large.

St. Lukas Church (St-Lukas-Kirche) is located along the bank of the Isar River in Munich. Constructed in the late 19th century, this is the largest Protestant church in Munich. The 64 metre high dome is what you notice first when approaching St. Lukas. Two tall...More

The church building is huge and looks beautiful from outside. The interior of the church is however very basic. The special feature in the church are the concrete figurines on the walls.

In the neighborhood of the Maximilianeum this church looks bigger than it is when you are inside. It has a rather plain roof from the inside. Beautiful to visit but only if you are near.

Nice looking church- well worth a quick look in if you are passing. It is free to go inside so what do you have to lose?

Magnificent and very large church on the banks of the Isar river located 0.88 km east from the city centre. It is also the largest protestant church in Munich.

Its green dome, accompanying towers and massive size rise majestically above the trees along the River Isar, and it was this sight that drew us in. The exterior red brickwork gives way to grey bare stonework on the inside, which is more akin to that...More

The largest reformer church in Munich. You can see already from far away. You should walk a little to find it, but it is worth to visit. Beautiful.
