I saw a poster of the “grin reaper” by Banksy and decided to go. What a great surprise, a relaxed viewing space with unpretentious multimedia installations. Not the biggest gallery but I enjoyed all of the work and I will be back. The coffee was...More

This Modern Art Museum was the best one we saw in all of Germany. We thought Berlin would have the best and we’re surprised to find this one in Munich. If you like modern art this is a must see.

We visited on a Monday and there were only three other visitors, so we practically had the gallery to ourselves. There was a good range of art and we liked the general theme that there was art everywhere (including the toilets!). The layout was nice...More

My visit was super spontaneous.. but I am so happy that I went to see the exhibition. The museum is in a quieter street and one could almost miss the entrance. The staff was really friendly and thoughtful. The exhibition itself is fascinating. There were...More

My husband and I paid 7.50 euro each to basically see one large mural (it was lovely) and a room with some photos of recent architectual awards. We were not the only ones there that were surprised that there was nothing else to see-one man...More

Unusual space, Jimmy Nelson exhibition until early March 2018 is well worth a visit. The urban architecture exhibition is small and in German only.

This small museum is located in a nice area of Munich, just off the beaten track. It houses several exhibitions of urban contemporary arts, including a beautiful mural. We visited the exhibition of "The Art of Writing", with some impressive paintings. We also enjoyed a...More
