    No wifi and an old substitute coach
    They soend so much time promoting the great wifi we had no wifi and were put on some beat up coach that was not a flix bus. Its funny how they have all these positive reviews on the it site, but you cqnt leave one. Fakes

    Ruined our entire trip
    We booked a trip to and from Venice in advance of our trip. We reserved seats during the booking process. A week later, we received an email saying that our "itinerary" had changed. What had actually happened was Flixbus had changed my wife's seat reservation to another seat, and cancelled my seat entirely. We called customer service, who offered us a voucher instead of cash. We were forced to accept this, and then lodge a complaint through their website. All this while trying to prepare for the vacation and find alternative transportation. Absolutely terrible service.

    Unethical with poor customer policies
    Flix bus won't give me a refund. I have a duplicate order for 3 people. We're still going on the trip, but because I made an error on their website, they are treating it as a cancellation instead of a rebooking. They *refuse* to give me my money back on the duplicate and insist I have to use a voucher. They could treat it as an error or rebooking, but they won't. Staff are trained not to get a supervisor. I'm going to the Ombudsman. Will never use them again. Totally unethical.

    They steal your money
    Absolutely awful customer experience. The whole process is so misleading and there’s no way to get your money back once you’ve cancelled your ticket. This company really needs to be reviewed as they are essentially stealing money from people. £600 I spent on 9 tickets as our Eurostar was cancelled. Luckily we were able to board a later train, so cancelled the Flixbus thinking we would get a full refund (the messaging on their website is so misleading). DO NOT BUY A TICKET as they are not flexible at all!

    f*ck flix bus, they treat people worse than animals.
    hello, i want to inform you that today i took a 19h trip by flix bus, and im dehydrated. why? no onboard service, literally no way to get water on bus, next thing, there are no planned stop in places with toilets and food (or water). everytime we stoped i run out to seek for water, i managed to find one place near stop only 10 hours into the trip. i dont recommend, i literally cried because of how f*cked up this service is. not worth the money, id rather ride sindbad (polish company) they stoped every 2h at places where you could get everything needed for a trip and toilets

    Terrible!
    Terrible experience. I have a family of four and the Flixbus person just left us behind because we had 3 bags and one was 1kg overweight. Even though we were four of us and we were allowed 4x22kgs, the guy just rudely pushed us out of the bus and we were stranded at the bus stop. I am a foreigner and I really feel sad after seeing such a behaviour by a German.

    Horrible experience abandoned in Trieste with luggage still on bus
    Avoid this company! We were travelling from Budapest to Venice, and didn’t realize there was a toilet on the bus. We were seated right behind the drivers, and in Trieste when they stopped, we told them we were getting off just to use the bathroom. Five minutes later when we came back outside, the bus was gone, along with our suitcases and hand bags with our passports, iPads, and credit cards! We told the woman at the station who was selling FlixBus tickets what had happened, and she gave us a number to call. After several attempts, we managed to reach someone and told them our story. Her response was, “Why did you get off the bus when there are toilets there?”, and then she hung up on us! We managed to buy tickets for another bus (cash only, luckily we brought our purse and wallet off the bus), and went to Venice. We wrote an email to the company letting them know about our lost luggage, but ten days later have still had no response from them. Once in Venice, we used our FindMy app and learned that our luggage was at a hotel in Padova. We then took a train to Padova, arriving around 2 am, and saw the bus parked outside. We had a few hours sleep at the hotel, then woke up at 5 am and stood by the entrance waiting for the drivers to show up. At 7 am they got off the elevator and when they saw us there was no apology or explanation. They reluctantly took us back to Venice, saying that “it was against the rules,” and we got off with our luggage this time. As my husband said, all’s well that ends well, but heed our advice and make alternative travel plans!

    Most Useless company in the world
    This is the most useless Company in this world! Avoid them by all means. They will cancel your trip and will never feel remorseful about it. When you call them for refund, they will tell you they don’t have access to refund. Their customer service is extremely horrible and their staff are so unprofessional. I wish I could give 0 star!

    NEVER AGAIN- AVOID FLIXBUS
    NEVER again, worse trip we took in Europe. In addition to a one hour delay with no communication or even acknowledgment from the Flixbus workers, the Bus was dirty, the driver was aggressive and rude. Most importantly the whole trip smelled like sewage. AVOID Flixbus.

    Left me stranded
    They left me stranded. I arrive 20 minutes early the bus was 3 hours late when it arrived the bus driver told me there's a different bus for me then love chat told me I missed my buss and have to purchase another ticket!! I had to take an uber for 200$ back!!

When I traveled with other bus companies I always carry my guitar in a soft case with me on the bus. If there is no other room for it, then I keep it in font of me all the time. Never had any problems with this for 15 years, never had to pay extra.

With FlixBus, guitar is defined as „special luggage", so you can only transport a guitar in the trunk, and you have to pay extra. Don't get me wrong, I would pay extra for this, but there are two problems. First, you can't know if there will be enough room for the „special luggage” (in this case the guitar) in the trunk until 48h before the trip and. Even if you buy a ticket in advance and get a refund if there is no space for the guitar, I find this ludicrous for anyone who has to plan their journey in advance. Second, not all buses can even transport „special luggage", so you have to check that first!

So then I offered another solution to the costumers service. I asked if I can buy two tickets, reserve two seats. So, one for me, and one for my guitar. Even tough this is a common practice in almost any airplane, and airplanes have a much higher security risk than a bus, this is also not possible with FlixBus.

Not using the service until FlixBus changes their policies regarding this matter.

Right now on the flixbus from MUC Airport to Innsbruck - line 040. The driver starts making problems in Munich Airport and leaves the bus in Munich Zob, weighing luggage pieces around (something none ever did on a flixbus in my very long experience as a FlixBus user) and starting counting my purse as a extra luggage piece, therefore asking people, specifically me, 6 Euros for loading a cabin baggage I had previously carried with me on the flight (it weights 8 kgs). The problem was not solved. The driver was arrogant and self-righteous. I asked him to put the 'extra baggage' alias my purse in the baggage to solve the problem. The problem couldn't be solved though, not even by putting the purse inside the baggage, and effectively reducing the number of baggage pieces from 3 to 2...
He also refused to give me his name so I cannot make a personal complaint. Very nice of him and not at all intimidating to take in my personal details, to supposedly write me a receipt that I didn't receive, but I am not supposed to know his name. He also asked me to come talk to him out of the bus with 2 other drivers. Did he need bodyguards? I am 1,57 m tall but boy, I can be loud if I want to.

It was 10am and my bus was delayed, ok, I waited for an hour but it had never showed up. Employees said that they don't know where the bus is but they offered me to switch my ticket for the next one. Later on, the second bus also had never showed up. I was already 2 hours late to my destination. I wanted to switch my ticket again so I did, but for the bus at 9pm because it was my only choice. I waited for two buses at the same bus stations because they kept sending me messages that they are on the way and close. But they never showed up. After 10 hours of waiting, the bus finally came (it was also late about 20min) and the driver was rude. He just let one person use the toilet and yelled at other people. When we made the break for the toilet and was the last one to took it and when I came out, the bus changed its parking. I was looking for it and thought they left me out somewhere at 3 at night. Also, the seat in front of me was broken and it was down on me the whole 10hrs trip. I felt extremely claustrophobic, it was hot, it smelled bad, WI-fi was slow or not here at all, charger didn't work after some time.
It wasn't my first time to had bad experience with flixbus so i don't recommend it

Be mindful of the strict luggage weight policy. Currently travelling from Munich to Prague. Bus was running 5 minutes late - this was no problem for us. When we approached the bus the bus driver took one look at my luggage and wanted us to pay €9 because he thought it was over 20kg. My bag weighed in at 24kg (fair enough) so we put some things into my partners bag (which weighed in at 17kg). We weighed our bags again and mine came in at 18kg and my partners at 20.6kg. We still had to pay the money. I'm not concerned so much about the 9€ I am more concerned about his inflexibility, abruptness and antagonism towards us. We'd been through multiple airports without an issue and the 600g was enough for him to turn us away if we weren't willing to pay the 9€. If we had a moment longer we could have equalled out our luggage so that both bags were below 20kg. This was an unnecessarily stressful and disappointing travel experience.
We have previously travelled with Flixbus and have only had good things to say about them. But this man has given me a new opinion of Flixbus. This was not how I wanted our trip to Munich to end. I hope Prague lifts our spirits before we fly home to Australia.

Drove with Flixbus from Flensburg to Berlin and back, the trip going to Berlin was rather uneventful but next to nothing was done by the company to try to enforce COVID-19 safety regulations.

On the return trip to Flensburg the driver said I could not take my hard-shell luggage with me as my carry on baggage despite it fulfilling all of the criteria Flixbus listed on their website. Both representatives of Flixbus were extremely unwilling to listen to my complaint and reason with the evidence on Flixbus own website.

Flixbus also denied us traveling any further without me handing the driver my passport because I didn’t have 9 euro in cash to pay for a rule I didn’t break. In Hamburg we also got told by a Flixbus representative that it was not policy to allow hard-shell luggage in the cabin despite the website not stating otherwise.

The representative also wanted me to pay the fee and try to claim it back later, but she saw reason that we shouldn’t spend time trying to get such a low amount of money back for not having broken any rules we could have known. The Flixbus staff on our bus on the other hand were very unwilling to let it go even when the representative told them otherwise.

In general you get what you pay for, a bus ride with extremely poor service and one you should avoid if not speaking German since the staff on both busses could barely speak any and are very unlikely to help with any issues.

We bought a ticket to travel from Lisbon to Seville at 11pm. Bus was 2 hours with 20 minutes late. Other Flixbus drivers weren't helpful and I dont get why they dont have at least a whatsapp group where they can ask their peers for certain buses and information if needed or requested by travelers. Nor the company offer many options for customers, nobody onsite letting us know what is going on. I placed a complained and they took 1 week to respond that since they ended up providing the service they weren't willing to offer any kind of compensation or discount for future trips. Also bus was really uncomfortable. I need to add that I used Flixbus on another trip from Copenhaguen to Malmo and it went smoothly so not sure if service is poor in some countries and good in others.

Flixbus cancelled my trip 4 days before departure, giving me the possibility to rebook new tickets, for the same date, for a higher price... (Their email said that I could rebook new tickets fro free but in real it wasn't, I paid the difference) Last but not least, their application on Android is unreliable. After the rebook didn't update the information, luckily, I did a double check... Risking to keep old deleted tickets. Regiojet absolutely better. Nevermore your customer.

We used them to travel in DEC from Brussls to Paris, Our Bus to Paris was cancelled
and notice came short before departure time. We were wating for hours and hours and once the new bus was supposed to come we were advised that had a mechanical failure and to have to wait again for another one. In the meantime there was alter bus that had vacant seats and we asked to get in but we were advised that was full.

All of the sudden we saw on the side the Flix rep was giving the seats to people from the same group nationality which was tottaly discriminatiing.

Finally after hours and hours bus came.

On the way back from Paris Bercy same storyjust upon entering the bus station at early hours we received a msgs that again bus will be late but how late nobody knew.

There is no worse place to be at 0300 that Paris Bercy station, full of rats.... homeless people sleping and awful smell of urine alround...

There was no FLix Bus rep or no anouncement where the bus will come.

After many more than 1OO round around station we saw our bus ready to leave...

We stopped them o nthe last moment and driver was agreesive becaUse he will be delayed further.

He was ready to depart without any announcement where the bus will arrive and departure point.

NO WAY AGAIN TO USE FLIX BUS.

This was one of the worst service experiences ever! We had booked a ticket from Chamonix to Geneva for 10:10. The bus we had a booking for didn't arive for more than an hour and a half so far (still waiting in the Chamonix station). The crazy thing is that since we have been waiting three flix bus going to Geneva more than half empty have, have refused to let us on the bus, since our reservation was for the 10:10 bus. We called the call center service and asked to change our reservation to another bus but they have refused firmly. We asked for a refund but they said we cannot get a refund until 2 hours have passed. We are currently their prisoners and cannot go on any other bus unless we are saying goodbye to the money already spent. The worst service ever!!! Don't use their service!!! And don't waist your time on calling them to the call center - the person answering was practically a robot reading the same lines over and over again and again - "I am sorry, nothing I can do, can't let you in on another half empty bus, can't give you a refund unless 2 hours late have passed, this is EU regulation, cannot pass you to anyone in charge". During the conversation he also kept saying the bus will be here at 11:25, he sees it on the computer. It is now already 11:40.... and guess what the bus is still not here. Terrible! Outrages!
It is now 12:22 and the bus didn't arive yet.

We decided to try flixbus because their prices were very competitive, well there is definitely a reason. I booked a roundtrip from asti to Rome and back. The first trip to get us to Rome changed 3 times in the 3 weeks before our departure, which is ok, but today, day of departure, i tried logging in with my itinerary number and the app said that the trip was canceled or changed and to add the new itinerary number (which i did not have of course) So I called the customer service and they told me that they had to cancel my bus but gave me an other traveling option for the same price. So instead of having an overnight bus directly to my destination I know had to stop in a parking lot in the middle of nowhere at 11:30 pm and wait there for 3 hours for another bus to take me to my final destination. There was no way to get a refund just a voucher for an other trip, and because they told me only 3 hours the departure i could not do anything but getting this 2 busses. Here I am in a cold parking lot on a bench for 3 hours with no open place to go for 3 hours. Awful. Cold. Snd in the middle of the night. I have meetings in the morning and i will not be able to sleep all night. And no refunds. I will never use this again!!!
