We had an advance booking for Hohenschwangau Castle, as Neuschwanstein Castle was booked out. We were fortunate enough to get a booking for Neuschwanstein Castle, so took the opportunity to do them both. I was a bit skeptical, but I must say, we did enjoy...More

Very happy that I can finally visit this castle. However, felt that the tour was rather short and our guide was not very informative. Most of the time was waiting for the rest of the tourists to move into the different rooms. Also would definitely...More

Beautiful castle and great view from Marienbrucke. Easy access on the feet or by bus. It's about 2.5 kilometres. We took the bus up and walked back down at our leisure. Many stairs in the castle but well worth the visit.
