The (not so) wild pig enclosure occupies a small part of Stadtwald, Fürth's own forest on its doorstep. The Stadtwaldt is an actively managed forest criss-crossed by walking and cycling tracks, a natural refuge from the city. The pigs appear placid but signs warn against reaching through the fence and against feeding them. Suggested food donations can be left in a box at the fence for distribution to the pigs.…

The enclosure is not something spectacular, but wild pigs can be seen and pet through the fence. Guess they are no so "wild". Good place for kids to see them and nice refreshing walk.

A lot of fun for the kids. This is also a place that is worth going to over the course of time as you see the baby wild pigs grow up. Don't feed them too much bad stuff... but they do love dry pasta!
