We truly enjoyed the time spent in the Kolbensattel area. We rode the alpine slide and it was exhilarating. We are a group of fifty somethings, so it's not just for kids. There is an awesome ropes course at the top. We loved the charming...More

€10 gets you a ticket for the ski lift and a toboggan ride to the bottom on a hair raising ride. The views on the way up are spectacular (be sure to look behind you) and there's a restaurant/bar close by. We were lucky enough...More

We had good service purchasing tickets and the ride was enjoyable. I never felt unsafe although I HATE these type of lifts. I can´t give a bad review because of my fear of heights. Even though I hate heights I never felt unsafe. The lifts...More

Just outside Oberammergau, 15 minutes from the Linderhof Palace, this Alpine Coaster is fun for the young & the young at heart. Just €10, you take about a 15 minute ride up the mountain on a ski lift, get off, walk a few yards to...More

Excellent location for photos and view. Cable cars take you to highest mountain in Germany. Going down is fun and real thriller, instead of using cable car try the sliding chair, I did not have the courage to try it though. Best part of Oberammergau.

You travel up the mountain in a chairlift, giving you a chance to enjoy the scenery in a pleasant, relaxed fashion. This in itself is well worth the ten Euros cost. Then, at the top, where there's a wooden chalet cafe, you get into your...More

This cable car brings you up or down in 15-20 minutes. Above the kids (of many ages) can play. There is also a nice restaurant but busy too. Sometimes you have to be lucky to sit outside with good weather. Next to this you have...More

Kolbensattel ski resort ideally meets family fun criteria: gradual piste structure (from beginners to skilled skiers), three slopes for children and beginners (including professional ski school nearby), a lot of traditional restaurants and close distance to the city of Oberammergau. Don't forget to use Ammergauer...More

Take a walking trail or the chair lift to the Kolbensattel, then hike from there, enjoy the playground, have a great meal while gazing at the mountains and Oberammergau valley. Finish with a ride down the coaster for a perfect adventure!
