Unique and beautiful city to walk around. Frescoes on the buildings are beautiful. Church and violin museum are neat.

The Old Town (Altstadt) of Mittenwald is very beautiful and traditional Bavarian Style. All the buildings are painted with beautiful pictures. It is very pleasant to walk around the Old Town.

Mittenwald town must be one of the most beutiful place on Earth! Friendly peple, lots of smal shops, restaurants and bierstubes. The building is decoratet, and a smal stream of water runs through the city. Run and visit!

Yes there is a train from Mittenwald to Garmish. I'd check the German Train schedule for times
