Well worth visiting. We went there by bus from outside Berchtesgaden Bahnhof train station, the bus journey took 10 minutes. From the bus stop walk over the little bridge to the car park. We had a lovely lunch in the traditional bier garden just beyond the car park. Then go up the steep hill, and on the way up stop... More

Do not hesitate and make sure you purchase the entrance tokens -it is worth it to go through this well maintained wooden path in a miniature canyon of roaring ice cold stream. You will enjoy every minute of it.

It is nice place but the 2 Euros are over rater seeing the size of this, you already pay 4 or 5 Euros for the parking.

Utterly enjoyed the view and the sound of the river, followed by the long walk- one of many options offered!

Short walk from bus stop. Half mile of gorgeous water falls. Wooden walkway provided great view. Admission was a couple of euros.

We took the short route, about 800 M walk and we saw the gorge (paid 1.50 euro). It is amazing, the water is so clear and it is worth every minute.

This gorge should be on your must see list as it is awesomely beautiful with massive amounts of water squeezed through a tiny chasm. You park in the large car park right off the main road, then (not signposted) walke up the sealed road to the right (very steep) past farmhouses and a field and you'll come to the entrance... More

We had never heard of Wimbachklamm, however a tourist brochure indicated that it would be a fascinating trip. We looked online to find directions to this attraction and headed there with our rental car. We went up the mountain and when the road started to become narrower, we had no choice but to go back down in reverse. We found... More

A short walk to the fall, quite a steep route, but mostly on a little road. Remember to buy your token to go through the turnstiles to enter the path to the waterfall. A lovely little excursion- excellent value for money! You are also able to use your guest card when you buy your token!
