Operating since 1990 our thoughtful and history-focused tours of the Eagle's Nest, the underground bunkers and nearby sites associated with Hitler's former HQs in the Alps have won international acclaim. They begin and end at Berchtesgaden's Tourist Office.

Not worth it in my opinion. Just not much to see. A place to eat, a cross, and an elevator. It's cool that it's hitlers retreat, but there is very little historical information. Very disappointing for me.

What was the name of the tour you took, was it Eagle's Nest Historical Tours? We are booked on a river cruise Oct 2017 and want to take a side trip of our own to the Eagle's Nest so I'm trying to see if logistics will allow it.

Yes I believe it was. Well worth it. Sorry for delay in answering.
Visiting the Salzburg area in December, are there any tours available to Eagles Nest then?
