We are delighted with the beauty and cleanliness of the zoo. A lot of exotic animals in a beautiful setting. Particularly impressed by the botanical garden, part of the orchids is remarkable. The Zoo was an occasion decorated with Christmas and despite the winter period...More
We have been visited Wilhema every spring since we moved to Stuttgart! Spring time is the best because you can see most baby animals. The zoo is very big and it took us a whole day (10am-3:30pm) to walk through the zoo. The animals exhibitions...More

Until you are there you cannot appreciate just how close you actually get to the animals, you won't be able to control your dog on site. In the Amazon House for example the fruit bats, butterflies and birds are with you, I'm talking inches away, if not on you!
Have a great time, and leave the dog at home.
