I saw another review complain about the 11 euro admission fee, so I was a little worried about going. I didn't need to be. It's a lovely place and probably worth twice the admission fee. More than enough animals, and you do get very close to a number of them. It's very easy to get to, I had a lot... More

This really is a very well maintained and beautiful gardens and zoo. My husband and I took our 4 year old in winter and he loved it. Play parks and an amazing array of wildlife - you can tell they look after the animals very well, but there's no getting away from quite how small the enclosures are for much... More

Park is lovely as well as the location, interesting the butterflies section. What was terrifying was seeing the Elefants: I think keeping such a huge animal in such a small area is not for a civilized country nowadays. Seeing such a beautiful animals repeating endlessly the same stereotyped movements knowing it is not a "dance" but a mental disorder caused... More

Very happy I visited the zoo. They have many animals to see, and I really liked the fact that birds (like peacocks) roam in the zoo free.

Went to Stuttgart on a day trip from Frankfurt and ended up spending the whole day at the zoo. Good diversity but as with any zoo, seeing the animals looking so depressed and bored makes you sad. A lot of areas where the animals only had very little space to move. Thought a German zoo would have things more organised.

The zoo is easy to get to and has a excellent variety of exotic animals. Its a great place for a nice easy Sunday afternoon to walk off lunch.

I went there alone to spent the day and it was just amazing. Though it was a little colder that day it did not take away from the fun and the beauty of the place. The botanical gardens are just beautiful and having the Moorish revival style grounds just added to the experience. Kids were very enticed by the animals... More

The zoo was great! We were only charged €11 entry fee which I think is pretty good for a day ticket. There's all kinds of animals here, so there's something for everyone. There's a lot of hills and steps, and the zoo covers a vast area, so be prepared to walk a lot. Some of the enclosures that you can... More
