You have to walk about half km when you get to the local station, but the views are good. The cafe was ok, but was nice to get out of the cold!

We spent a morning going to this TV tower, and we were very happy with the experience. The views of the city and surrounding countryside were spectacular. After taking the elevator to the observation deck on a very chilly day, we had a leisurely breakfast in the lovely and warm cafe. We were able to continue to enjoy the views... More

Four friends taking a trip up the rack railway then caught connecting train (short journey) to visit the Television Tower. It was dark and about 5 pm but the Tower was still open and there was no queue. We had a beer in the cafe at the top after visiting the viewing deck.

The que for this was quite long so I cannot imagine it being popular in cold months You go through security to get in the building then have to que a long time again but you finally go up... to be in a level where you are you guessed it - WAITING! You then go though airport style security and... More

Not bad, but too expensive for this, the park around is good. The kids wasn't impressed. It's outdoor and windy it's not good attraction for the winter.

Beautiful panoramic view of Berlin from the top. Sometimes you'll find yourself in the clouds ! The fast elevator to the top was a fun part of going and there is a bar at the top as well as a gift shop at the bottom. There are placques to tell the story of the tower. Sometimes the sun shines on... More

We went there since it was on our Stuttcard, and it was not a waste, the view is nice, but you are also far from the city, that the buildings are quite small and difficult to sort out (maybe a problem of aging eyes?). It is not the same as going up a skyscraper in the center of a city... More

A great look out over the area. It's only a short train ride from the centre of Stuttgart and it was lovely to pass by other areas of the city. The tower is set in a lovely woodland area not far from the train stop. It only costs a small amount to ride the tower to the top which I... More

There you can find a nice view of Stuttgart. When I was there it was really windy what made me do a faster visit but it was really nice. They also have a nice bar up there!
