Myself and another African American friend of mine visited this club earlier this year. Our first turn off were the bouncers at the door giving us a hard time for not speaking fluent Deutsch, in which we thought odd for as they were not true German in race either. They seemed to not want to allow us in even though we were dressed appropriately as the other guests who were allowed in without any hassle before us. Once we made our way inside after having to "promise to behave", the ambience was really nice and lively. The crowd there was mostly college students and younger adults. The layout was sort of retro but it did the club justice in the way it was set up. The drinks were not expensive which was a bigger plus to us. The bartenders seemed to ignore us regardless of us standing directly near the register trying to warrant their attention, but once we finally got them to serve us they did with politeness. All in all, it was a nice night in a nice place, but I more than likely wouldn't visit again unless changes were made or a third party was holding a specific event here. Thank you.
