I went to this interesting museum while visiting the Heidelberg Castle. It is nicely organized. There are some beautiful displays and art.

the museum has lots of old pharmacy equipment in the wood draws as it was. at this time working in the pharmacy was different then today. very interesting
The Deutsches Apotheken-Museum is a great place to cool down once you manage to climb up Burgweg on the way to the Heidelberger Schloss. You do not necessarily need to be a chemist to be well impressed with how pharmacy looked years ago.

Even if you are not a chemistry professor, it is really worth to visit it. Interesting way of presenting the history of the pharmacy. The children's pharmacy should be more interesting and more updated, but it was fun to smell the different herbs.
