The pharmacy museum is a really interesting place. You can see a whole bunch of old glass bottles etc. Originally from that time with old medicine and there is a whole area where they show all kind of old medicines and explain what it is...More

This is one of the most beautiful (if not THE most beautiful) museums displaying real and complete pharmacies, pharmaceutical laboratories and the way science was made in the last centuries. Definitely worth a visit - or multiple visits - as you find something new every...More

The Deutsches Apotheken-Museum is a great place to cool down once you manage to climb up Burgweg on the way to the Heidelberger Schloss. You do not necessarily need to be a chemist to be well impressed with how pharmacy looked years ago.

Even if you are not a chemistry professor, it is really worth to visit it. Interesting way of presenting the history of the pharmacy. The children's pharmacy should be more interesting and more updated, but it was fun to smell the different herbs.
