We went to see the great barrier reef. I was hoping for more either interaction or maybe some videos. Its large and with lots of detail, but the proportion are weird. It's fun to look at and make pictures. You can take a tour its...More

We went when they had a display of Ancient Rome. It was pretty neat to see. This place isn't a must but it's a good way to kill a couple hours.

I had to find out what a gasometer was - or rather what it used to be back when they made town gas from coal and needed to store it. So now it is a huge tank used for another purpose entirely. Imagine a huge...More

It's ok, something new, but I think it's nothing so special to pay a 11 euro ticket for (adults). I was thrilled to watch the exhibition because some friend told it was worth of it. Sorry, maybe I had too many expectations.

We love the Gasometer, we went to Rom 360 a few years ago and just went to Great Barrier Reef the other day. The photography is quite something with all the natural lighting. Yadegar Asisi is a talented man! Allow 1.5-2.5 hours for mist enjoyment....More

Rom 312 - exhibition was certainly worth the visit, never seen anything quite like it! Great experience and entertaining "museum" for both the adults and the teenagers!

This is a converted gasometer. They painted the inner walls with a 360° view of Rome during emperor Constatin (312 AC), with zillions of people. The sound and light shows covers 24h in a few minutes (you see the sunrise and sunset light). I spent...More

This is the site of an old gas storage building made into a Panarama of Ancient Rome. Lots of climbing of stairs to take in the detail of the artwork, with phenomenal details. It cycles through the day and night and exhibits tremendous perspective. The...More

The gasometer was really fun; we went to see the Rome exhibit, which was awesome (look for the three "mistakes" purposely made by the artist). We spent the equivalent of 1 week there - really enjoyed seeing it at all the levels, amazing how different...More

Had no idea what to expect when my German cousins said we were going to the Gasometer. When they described it as 360-degree panorama, it conjured up memories of a long ago visit to the Cyclorama at Gettysburg, but this was a panorama on steroids!...More
