We've been twice now and love it here. Parking is 5 Euro and other than that, it's free to visit with the animals and play on the various playgrounds. We learned after our first visit to bring a bunch of 2 Euro coins as that is the only thing the feed machines take. The signage is great- green signs on fences mean you can feed the animals, red signs mean DO NOT feed animals or you will pay a fine and be asked to leave. You can go in the goat enclosure to feed them which is fun, and some animals have little chutes from the fence and you send the feed down the chute to them. Feeding the Scottish Cows is our favorite! Also, we brought our dog this past time and she loved sniffing all the animals through the fences. We saw many other dogs visiting, just make sure they are leashed! Plenty of picnic tables if you want to bring a lunch...or you can stop by their beirgarten.…

Perfect place for kids and parents! Full of beautiful animals, kids can feed them without fear, closely and it makes the connection between nature, animals and kids awesome. In the middle of forest! Much more fun than stupid Disneyland in Paris! A nice play park inside to make the kids really consume the last energy. A small restaurant serves hot wine, sausage, bear, Pommes and many other selections with reasonable prices. There is no park entry fee, you only pay for €5 for car park. It is 45 minutes to Wiesloch by drive; definitely will come again and again!…

This is a very well put together park as reflected in most of the reviews. The only issue I had (which dropped it a star) was that none of the wildlife information placards were in English. I found it quite strange (and a bit mean) that there is no signage in English for visitors wishing to learn about the wide assortment of wildlife and plants, but plenty of English signage governing the rules of the park, such as "Do not feed, pay the damage, get expelled from the park."etc.,etc Sadly one only gets a lesson in German order, but nothing of the knowledge and joy of wildlife. Regardless the park is free and very nice, especially for families. Just bring a translator if you wish to teach your children about the animals.…

Stopped by over a holiday. Entry is free or per car (parking ticket fee goes to park) which is 3€ on weekdays or 5€ on weekends or holidays. Built into the forest and with plenty of different animals, petting zoo and a lot of chances to feed deer, alpaca, etc. very nice and entertaining. Climbing area with Zipline also available but didn’t try it. Pretty nice place especially with it being so cheap. Recommended visit!…
