A nice place to visit, a few local shops but no small alleyways with shops to wander up. A modern feeling town square.

Freudenstadt is a perfect location to explore the black forest. The marktplatz has a great selection of cafes, shops, restaurants and of course the fountain. Great spot in the area to visit and stay.

Surprising open space with quite a history. Shops selling local produce, the church, plenty of restaurants and bars. Shopping for essentials straitforward and parking easy. There was some work going on on the roads around which caused minor hold ups.
