Which was delicious. And some cheese and wine.... More

We were there for the Saturday market which I assume is the largest. Wow - so many fresh fruits and vegetables. The sausages from Meier's wurst stand were excellent. The only thing that surprised me were the limited options for freshly butchered meat and fowl.

Love the market -farmers selling local and seasonal produce. I can't visit the market without a 'lange Rote' sausage -best ever!

Just around the cathedral, this is a very nice place with wonderful buildings all around. You can have a nice drink on one of the terraces witch are there.

If you pass by Freiburg, stop by the old town, visit this place and the Munster church. Great scenery, historic building complex. Lots of nice cafes and restaurants

If you want to experience what real market shopping feels like this is the place. You must eat a Wurst and sit by the fountain to eat it.
