This is a romantic garden to visit. There are plenty of roses to see, even if it isn't a very large place for walking for long periods of time. They have chairs near the statues where you can relax and enjoy the beautiful view of the flowers.

If I could change one thing about it, it would be that I would add some decorative tables with the seats so that visitors can have a little picnic here with ease. It could be a nice place to have a romantic lunch or to enjoy a coffee with a friend.

In case anyone wonders about whether or not entry is free, it costs one euro to enter. I don't recall that the ticket machine accepted cards, so make sure you have euro coins with you before you pay the garden a visit, just in case.

Beautiful rose garden . Interesting history. Preparing for the 2024 competition with lots of lovely minis . Don't go on Sunday as the bus doesn't take up to the garden and the hill is too steep to walk unless in really good shape

One of the best places in Baden-Baden is this rose garden with the Black Forest in the background. The have an excellent display of old and new roses. Well worth the trip, especially in mid-June when at peak bloom.

An out of the way rose garden, on top of a hill, overlooking the Black Forest, what is not to love! A must see. Meticulously maintained.

Please do not confuse Rosengarten auf dem Beutig with the old garden Goenneranlage which located along the Lichtentaler Allee. Many people here write comments about the wrong park as well as placed wrong photos.

So, the new garden Rosengarten auf dem Beutig is located a little far from the tourist trails, on the hill of the city and if you walk from the center it will take at least 20 minutes uphill, it is very hard and exhaustingly, especially for those who are not trained. My advice - take an Uber, a taxi or a bus if you don't have a car, and save your time and energy. The entrance fee to the park is 1 euro, take cash with you, you need to use a machine to pay. The park is excellent with breathtaking panorama view over valley. Wonderful place for taking photo, enjoying the roses in their countless varieties and colors. Worth a visit if you have extra time in Baden-Baden, if you are a park lovers, and of course, if weather is allowed. There are no shelters from the rain and no restaurants or cafes.

I was very frustrated that I missed the opening of the roses by about 1 week. All the bushes were full of buds but not yet open. Beautiful garden-would have loved to have been there 2 weeks later! Definitely worth a visit.

Beautiful little peaceful garden. Nice in the morning for a little stroll. Not far from town, only about 15-20 minute slow stroll.
