What a treat - we were the only two in the funicular and in control of pressing the start button. Really steep ride with incredible views en route. Longer journey than many funiculars we have done before and well worth it.

The views from the top are amazing. The funicular ride up is quite comfortable. However, the cafe at the top is always full, so expect to wait if you want a drink.

Really worth going up there. Great view of the city and only 4 euros to go up and down on the cable cars. There is however, a sign which says 'Bisenwasen 1.2km'. We chose to do this hike, which in itself was fun, but the...More

It's quite a hike up - suggest the bahn up and the walk down. Watch hang gliders take off and soar over the countryside

Vagon moves each 10 minutes. Interesting views in 5 min drive. 2 Euro one way, 4 Euro incl return. Bus station nearby

We took a trip to the top and could see 360 degrees, a lovely view. It was cold and windy at the top, fun to climb the tower.

1. Would like to go on the funicular train up to the top. Will be driving a car from Baden-Baden airport. Is there a parking area before boarding the Funicular , and how far do you need to walk? Would like to know more on the walking required as will be having small children. 2. Where do you get the tickets from 3. Is there a schedule/opening hours info I can look up. Thanks.

1. Yes, there is plenty of parking at the entrance. The funicular is easily accessible from the parking lot with small kids and carriages. 2. There's an automated machine - bring small denominations of cash to purchase... More

Theres no train to get to the funicular entrance . You can get to the funicular by bus or cab. The stroller is fine from the entrance point. You can take the baby up and the paths are not difficult. You can choose to stay... More
