Do it if you are close. It's a nice ride over the river either a awesome view to the Dom. Price is fair. Don't do it if is more than 39 degrees. The cable cars don't have AC

It is very hot and no fan inside.. We bought the return ticket and spend some time on the Claudius Therme which is just beside the Rheinpark stop of cable station. When we return at 4.45pm, they suddenly close down the cable car and the...More

Short trip across the river. Great views and very reasonable at 7 euro return. We chose to walk back through the park and then across one of the bridges.

Our two and a half year old enjoyed "flying" over the river in the cable car. Good for a trip to the zoo or the Rhine Park!

Good view of Cologne. Can sway a bit when the wind blows, so not for people with a fear of heights. You can do a round trip or stop at the other side. Near to the zoo and botanical gardens

Cable car across the Rhine. It's nice and stable so not too scary for those afraid of heights. Great views of the cathedral and town.

If you're gonna get on this thing expecting to feel safe and secure, think again. It is what it is, a wobbly, insecure feeling ride over the river. It feels more like a slow, thrill carnival ride than something safe, or for everybody. All I'm...More

The cable cars are a cute attraction, at a reasonable price that give you a nice view of the river and city. We had a lot of fun talking them over and back across the river. It's not an attraction that takes long to do...More

Taking the Cologne Cable Car, (Kolner Seilbahn) is a great experience and well-worth the fee. There are great breath-taking views as it slowly travels up or down the hill towards the fortress.

This place offers a very good view of Cologne, especially the sunset from this place is perfect. But 3 minutes ride in one way costs 4,5 € for one person (both ways 6,5€), what is expensive for such a short ride.
