Steph of Pro-Snowboarding is the best instructor my sons and I have ever had. And we’ve had many!!! Four days of private lessons with him for the three of us in the Tignes/Val D’Isere area. He is very patient, friendly and an incredibly skilled and experienced boarder and teacher. He struck the balance perfectly between improving skills and having fun. Steph is a true communicator who was able to bring about breakthrough improvements for us in areas we had been previously stuck on. And a gentleman to boot!

I have recently returned from a fantastic week long snowboarding trip to Val d'Isere which was really made fantastic by the fact that by the end of the trip I had become a decent snowboarder having not stepped foot on one at the start of the week. This was made possible by instructor Roddy Clark of Pro Snowboarding.
My wife and I took 3 x 3 hour private lessons on Monday to Wednesday with Roddy after finding their site on the internet. I selected this company as the qualifications and experience held by the three trainers was impressive. Booking and payment was very easy and they were very happy to accommodate us as complete beginners with some helpful advice on perpetration. The fees charged were also good to and very competitive with some of the alternatives
Lessons started on the central 'Village' slope. The instructor was there when we arrived and was really friendly and helpful. He took us through a structured and progressive course over the three days, taking us to some of the slightly more challenging 'green' runs above the Olympic Ski lift on the Tuesday. Despite the different learning curves that my wife and I took, Roddy was able to accommodate both our needs, offered individual attention and a slower pace when needed and also pushing myself to achieve more when he recognised I was ready.
Overall, I would highly recommend the company. Roddy was a great guy and I will certainly book a session with him to help progress my snow boarding when I'm back next year!

Steph is a great instructor and I would highly recommend.
Knows what questions to ask and how to get the most out of your lesson.
If you're in Val and need a snowboard lesson, give them a shout 🤙🏻

I went for my first snowboarding lesson and had amazing fun! Steph was an excellent teacher with superb knowledge.
My partner also had his first snowboarding holiday and had some group lessons. His improvement was dramatic and he enjoyed this greatly.
We would both recommend Steph as an instructor for anybody who goes out to Val d'Isere and would definitely book lessons again when we go back out.

What a fantastic 4 days with Steph! His many years of experience, relaxed way of teaching and super fun attitude brought out the best in me! I've had a few lessons before in other resorts but I have never progressed as quickly as I did with Steph. He gave me the confidence I needed to go out every morning and push myself! I can't recommend Pro Snowboarding highly enough. Looking forward to coming back and booking up again. Thank you for such a fantastic week!!!

Steph is an amazing instructor, unparalleled in knowledge, experience and teaching ability, and also a really cool guy! I've been taught from scratch by him and I wouldn't want to be taught by anyone else. His teaching style is great because he gives you self confidence and really helps you to understand the techniques you are using to ride in the first place. Excellent in every way, thank you Steph!

This was an amazing week of fantastic snowboarding and would recommend it to anyone looking to push themselves and have lots of fun. The instructures are very friendly and professional at what they do

I have been riding with Steph for 3 years. I started as an absolute beginner and this year Steph introduced me to the off-piste riding. He is a great instructor and I trust him 100%. Steph keeps motivating me and exposes me to new challenges so I continue to improve my riding. I have already booked my sessions for 2018 with him.

Having used Pro Snowboarding for the first time 4 or 5 years ago, a trip to Val d'isere without them wouldn’t be the same. Steph's an excellent guide who knows the Espace Killy like the back of his hand, all the little secret powder spots but also all the places not to go.
Steph took on our twin daughters this year too & they were linking their turns within 3 or 4 days at the age of 5. They didn't stop talking about their lessons for ages, they absolutely loved it, no tears at all, just a few hot chocolate marks.
I've been boarding for nearly 20 years & every session I learn something new. If you want to make the most of your trip to Val d’isere or Tignes then I highly recommend Pro Snowboarding

We had an excellent day out off pisting with Steph. Would definitely add a day out of guided off piste in Val d'Isere with Pro Snowboarding to your holiday experience.
