- Andrew SCononley, United Kingdom9 contributionsThis place RocksThought we would try this place, on our last night in Val. A friend got in touch to say there was a good band playing live. It was absolutely packed. People dancing on tables, and generally having a good Time. It's basically a outside bar, with loads of flashing lights. Skied a lot of resorts around Europe, think it's got to be one of the best apres ski bars I have been in.Visited December 2022Traveled with friendsWritten December 15, 2022
- Tom FLondon, United Kingdom1 contributionArguably the best apres-ski in the Alps - Folie who?We turned up at Cocorico on our first day, having heard fantastic things from friends who had been earlier this season. We were lucky enough to witness the entire set of "Mr Clean", who brilliantly interacted with the crowd and seemlessly blended into the flawless set by resident house Disk Jockey - Philipe Gestarde. We returned to "coco's" every day and were not disapointed once. €6.50 beers were very reasonable considering what you pay up the mountain. Toffee Vodka and jaegerbombs were also all very reasonably priced. The tables are sturdy enough to support even the most busty of intoxicated dancers... All in all, a fantastic time from start to finish, every time. Some overheard quotes during our time there: "I want to have my ashes scattered here" (Unknown, 2016) "Is that guy ok?" (Unknown, 2016) "Shall we just stay for one more song?" (Unknown, 2016) "Is that guy actually ok?" (Unknown, 2016) "Trois Bier S'il vous plait, pour moi!"Visited January 2016Traveled with friendsWritten January 28, 2016
- Danny FEast Sussex, United Kingdom57 contributionsFull on apres ski!Visited after a hard day skiing and wound down with a couple of pints listening to the live band. Around 6pm the party really kicked off with the DJ ramping up the music, crowd surfing, table dancing and an electric atmosphere. Had an absolute blast. Unforgettable experience!Visited March 2018Traveled with friendsWritten April 5, 2018
- DominicBrighton, United Kingdom2 contributionsAwfulQueued for 2 hours - 1 hour spent at the front. The bouncers let their mates and people who will slip them a couple of Euros in while everyone else waited. Absolute shambles, wouldn’t bother unless you want to be greeted with aggressive bouncers, one of which started pushing people??? Not worth the hassleVisited February 2022Traveled as a coupleWritten February 8, 2022
- GraemeCLondon, United Kingdom6 contributionsBravo Georges!A group of my kids’ friends (aged 19-21) were looking forward to an early evening at Coco Rico but this was spoilt by an over zealous bouncer, called Georges, who let most in but refused one of the 19 year old girls entry. He ruined their evening. Never mind plenty of other places - feels like a Pretty Woman moment..Bravo Georges!Visited March 2023Traveled with familyWritten March 28, 2023
- Ira GLondon, United Kingdom8 contributionsUnacceptably brutal bouncersThe bouncers threw out some customers and started punching them in the face while they were laying on the snow. The customers were drunk but nevertheless this was absolutely unacceptable use of brutal force because while on the ground the customers were completely defenceless. This bouncer should be fired and the venue must apologise. This is completely unacceptable.Visited March 2018Traveled with friendsWritten March 30, 2018
- chris18950EFBristol, United Kingdom7 contributionsGood music but cheap tacky and staff aggressiveThe music was good, drinks very expensive and served in plastic cups. My girlfriend and others were pushed or punched in the back by staff. We then spoke to the manager and suggested they could just say excuse me and he replied 'you need to get out of the way of my staff. If you don't like it xxxx off' !! He was very aggressive so we just smiled, said good luck and left.Visited February 2016Traveled as a coupleWritten February 7, 2016
- TravelTipsAlexDerby, United Kingdom26 contributionsTop quality Apres-Ski - not to be missedWe went here on the second-to-last day after the Val lights show as we heard it was good. It was absolutely amazing - top quality tunage, people dancing on the tables, and reasonably priced beer (7~ Euros for a bottle of cider or a pint of lager). This place was alive and kicking, packed out and absolutely fantastic with a few mates. After going the first day, we rushed back after hitting the slopes on our last day skiing - it was so good that we arrived back at our chalet 30 minutes late for tea. Great times are to be had here, do not miss it!Visited February 2016Traveled with friendsWritten February 7, 2016
- Tasha28632 contributionsEpicQuite possibly the best bar I have ever been in. We arrived at about 3ish and managed to secure a table area as friends had told us it gets really busy. Before long a great band started playing live music..... An eclectic mix..... Something for everyone...definitely got the party going. A DJ then takes over...Dancing on tables, drinking straight from toffee vodka bottles (their speciality)..... Crowd surfing.... People dancing on the roof and bar, great views and all right on the piste. Not for the faint hearted ..... Definitely for me! And all done by about 8.30pm so u can get up early to get on the slopes. Loved it!Visited January 2015Written January 25, 2015
- davidjennyDublin, Ireland98 contributionsFavourite Apres Ski in Val d'Iserejust beside the main lift in the town - Cocoricos gets jammed packed very early and from start to finished its buzzing. The crowd is mostly 20's but just as much fun for a large bunch in their 50's. A mixture of live music and dJ's with lots of classic load anthems that has everybody joining in. we returned repeatedly and unlike Le Folie Douce its great that you are already back in the town and can stay much longer without worrying about having to ski home when you're not at your best!Visited March 2019Traveled with friendsWritten March 21, 2019

What better way to relax meet up with everyone after a long day on the Piste than in CoCo’s!!! Brilliant live music from 4.30pm as the sun was setting.. happy hour 4-5pm.. park your skis outside and wander in...fantastic atmosphere..great age mix.. music of all genres to suit all ages.. I would highly recommend this for your Apres Ski.. we sang & danced here every evening .. ideal location near the town at the bottom of the slopes! Check it out!!

Second year we've visited Val, and there's nothing better than finishing the day skiing than a visit to Coco's!
Get there before 4pm and get the buy-1-get-1-free on beers! Love the live music and the atmosphere! We'll be back next year for more fun!

This is the new definition in apré. Tables to dance on, friendly happy people and a bar that charges a fair price, love it!
