Very pleasant early evening walk - locals use it too. Good for bikes, wheelchairs and prams. Interesting boats. Try the Authentique restaurant but ph first as it can be closed seasonaly. Canal boats had closed too early for Southern hemishpere holiday makers. Arrived in Asutralian...More

The port is very nice and quiet. It's the preffered area for an evening walk by the locals. You can admire the boat owners rowing between boats to visit the neighbours :) Finding a restaurant in the area is not as easy as you'd think.

This is a lovely town with a really nice Port de plaisance. A great place to visit whether to just promenade or go shopping.

Port of Roanne is very nice, especially on a sunny day. A "must see" for every person visiting the city.
