Half-Day Korean DMZ Tour from Seoul

494 reviews
Travelers that want to uncover the history of the Korean War may be disappointed to learn that independent travelers can't visit the demilitarized zone (DMZ) between North and South Korea. But with this guided tour, you can explore this storied area on the Korean border. Highlights include stops at the 3rd Tunnel and DMZ Exhibition Hall, views of the Freedom Bridge, and your guide's commentary on the history of the Korean War.

thanks to a commenter for paju premium outlets for mentioning lotte outlets; i did stop on the way back by bus, & wouldn't you know it, got to score what i consider to be, in my 5 years here in the ROK, 1 of my top 2 buys ever; at their ABC shoe mart, they still had @ my size a limited edition version of Vans with a toy story motif, from regular price of 109,000krw...all the way to 10,000; yes, i only paid 10,000krw for these collectible shoes; really, i wasn't expecting to buy anything lower priced in lotte than in paju, but that's exactly what happened. thanks again! p.s.- there are just 2 more of these shoes, in smaller sizes; 1 of them being 255 (korean size; maybe @ 6-6.5 US)?

We decided to visit Lotte Paju Premium outlets after shopping in Paju Premium Outlets which proved to be a bust this time. We should have gone here first! This outlet is so much bigger, had more stores and better deals. They are divided in different blocks and buildings. Lotte Outlet is also nearer to Seoul. Good food choices compared to the food court in PPO. Got stuff from Lacoste, Adidas, Nike and Lohbs. Well worth the one hour trip from Myeongdong

I love outlet shopping. It took us less than an hour to get there from our hotel in Myeongdong. Got some good deals at the Prada Outlet so it was all worth the ride there. They also had Ferragamo, Tod’s, Mulberry and Polo Ralph Lauren. I just stayed in Block A. Pretty sure there was much more in the other Blocks. You can also include the Paju Premium Outlet in the trip.

There is so many brands here, price is good if compared to seoul. Parking was free during my visit, but still so little information that written in english. And it don't seems to be easy to reach with public transportation. But if you asked me, i would come here again on my next visit to korea.
