Megève: Observe Wildlife - Snowshoeing Trek

Do not be scared! You are not going to follow his tracks, you will just observe him from a quiet place while learning all the aspects of the mountain acrobat and the mountain itself. After a pleasant showshoeing hike and using the telescope, you will maybe have the chance to observe chamois, eagles, ibexes...

Enjoy a traditional and locally sourced picnic lunch in a magical environment and well surrounded!

IMPORTANT MESSAGE: The mountain is not a ZOO. Consequently, the observation of the animals is not 100% guaranteed.

With just 33 people carried up every 8-10 minutes it is definitely not suited to serve the duty. This gondola is one of the two going from Megeve and traffic is substantial. All skies and boards are taken inside. There are no seats. If you travelling with a small child be sure to choose off-peak times as going up with all the skiers and equipment can be a challenge.

We came down on this cable car after skiing in the Mt Arbois area as our legs were tired and this was the easiest way down. Takes you right to the bottom of the runs on the cusp of town. Nice & easy.

When you arrive at the top there are 'ambassadors' who help you to find your way on the first day.The staff for the cable car is very helpful. The ticketing office works perfect.Do not forget to add an ınsurance to your ski pass .This is important in case you have an accident on the slopes.

You could be faced with long queues to use this Gondala to get to the top of Rocheburne if you are skiing or boarding why not take the PT Roche and ski down to GDS Champ and pick up the Caboche. Whilst this may seem like a lot of chopping and changing to some people, if you are at the beginning of your day at least you feel like you are moving quickly as there is barely anyone waiting at the other lifts otherwise you could France a half hour queue.
