The tea choices are many and very good, the cakes good too but a little less choice and too many caramel things. You have to go order and then pay at the bar, which multiplies the round trips and disturbs the cats it's a shame. The choice of pastries was very limited, so we only had drinks, which were not great... I put 1 star because I am forced not to give zero because you deserve it!
I arrived alone, barely a glance at a boy with pink hair, barely considering me when I walked towards him and he looked down on me and told me that he wasn't there for that and asked me to go and sit down again as if it were my father except I am taller than him
Once the cookie arrives with a hot chocolate without chocolate and a stiff layer on the milk in the restaurant there was only the friendly chat I recommend if you want to be frustrated and in a bad mood

Not being from Lyon itself, I came several times for brunches, and they were always great experiences. Pleasant and fast service, savory or sweet dishes always very good, very reasonable value for money!
We see that cats are comfortable and very sociable with humans, in short, always a pleasure to spend time there.
I recommend and will come back with pleasure! :D

The drinks we consumed had literally no taste even though the menu said: “Don’t worry, it’s not only pretty, it’s also very good! »
We found that taking the order was not very pleasant and very speedy.
The atmosphere is still nice if you are a hipster and the cats are cool.

What saves this café is clearly the cats that roam everywhere. If you are an influencer hungry for beautiful “aesthetic” Instagram photos, I recommend this place. On the other hand, if you are a lover of things that have taste, move on…

I was looking for a nice cat bar in Lyon for my daughter.
I found the Gentle Cat via a web search and I must admit that I was chilled by the first virtual contact and their “children under 12 prohibited”
My daughter being just 12, I tried it and did really well.
It's incredibly clean. The staff is far from the coldness of the site and the welcome is top notch. They are kind, considerate and at our service as much as they are at the service of the cats.
The food is light, but it's good. The boards are quite plentiful and the products are of very good quality.
The choice of teas and homemade pastries is really vast and last but not least, the bread is real bakery bread.
So for the atmosphere, for the tasty boards and for the cats, I recommend.

Nice surprise in a very well decorated and warm place with the surprise of very beautiful and well-kept cats without forgetting the rabbit.
The only downside would be too much heat in the establishment.

This little cat cafe is wonderful! It was a happy accident that my hotel was next door, and based on the recommendation on their website I made a reservation for the next day. As soon as I sat down the brown cat was interested in me and a staff member put her in my lap (do not pick them up yourself) and there she slept for the next hour. I ordered a cookie cheesecake and it was so good! My one wish might be for savory choices as well as sweet, such as a quiche. The staff were very friendly and all in all it was such a lovely experience.
Some reviewers are upset that the cats did not interact with them. They are cats, it's in their nature. They are not there to serve humans, and maybe if you're lucky they will interact with you. But, during my visit, many cats were interacting with the patrons. Sleeping nearby, rubbing their legs asking for pets, and sitting on the big tree above their heads watching.
It also says on their website that you have to order something (I went on a Sunday afternoon and had a coffee and a piece of cake) so don't be surprised if they get upset that you are not ordering.
All in all, great visit!

We went there for the cats of course and we were not disappointed, they are magnificent. But we were very pleasantly surprised by everything else: the beautiful and cozy place, the delicious food, and the delicate service. Go there and you will definitely have a very pleasant time.

I have been going there regularly for over two years and have never been disappointed. Cats are adorable and very affectionate, you can see straight away that they lack nothing. The staff is also very friendly and smiling!
When it comes to food, I have never been disappointed either! Oreo cheesecake will always be my favorite :)
The setting is magnificent, several decorations depending on the rooms and locations of the café which show us several different worlds, I love working there, the music in the background and the cats always help me to concentrate.
I can only recommend this cat bar, which for me is the best place in Lyon!

Top concept!
We had brunch in a very calming, clean, well-decorated place, surrounded by pretty felines. There is plenty of space for cats and adults! The brunch is quality and quite generous. We will gladly come back !

Oui bien sur,il suffit de se rendre sur notre site internet dans l'onglet réservation puis Brunch. Les places sont mises en vente environ 4 semaines avant la date souhaitée. En espérant avoir répondu à votre question. Miaousement vôtre
