It is the only way to go to Lyon Center. The price is the highest in the world for a transfer airport-city. 16.10 eur for a one way trip. A taxi is much more affordable if you travel with friends or family. Inacceptable !

Absolute theft, absurd privatization of what should be private transit. The outrageous fare seems to just pay their little minions to yell at you the whole journey. This should be replaced by a bus, subway, etc. Literally anything else would be preferable.

I took the Rhone Express to Lyon's airport to avoid a very expensive taxi ride (estimated at about 75 Euros from downtown). The Rhone Express worked out perfectly. There was an electronic ticket machine that was easy to use, and the tram left right on...More

The Rhone Express is definitely cheaper than a taxi and super comfortable! Plus, it is quick, reliable and eco friendly - oh and there is power plugs and Wifi! Can't beat that!

We unexpectedly had to use this service on our return to Lyon airport and were a little concerned about some of the reviews. Agree the signage across the Part Dieu concourse is appalling but, because we were aware of this, we were able to keep...More

This is the worst experience of getting to the worst airport. Nobody tells you that the Rhone Express only goes to the TGV station, which is 20 minutes walk from a poorly signposted airport terminal. If you absolutely know where you are going and how...More

This is a useful and quick service between Lyon and the airport. It is somewhat pricey, but convenient to get to the centre of town. It's like a tram and ends at a tram stop behind Lyon Part Dieu station, look for the red RhoneExpress...More

I had been worried about doing this, but was pleasantly surprised. It was smooth, easy, comfortable and efficient. This super tram runs every half hour, takes 29 minutes and you buy tickets online, at the machine or on the tram. Online a single journey costs...More

Very easy way from Lyon Airport to Lyon Railway Station. 26 Euro return ticket. Only two stops between airport and station.

The prices are just ridiculous. If you do like and support public transportation, from the airport you can take a taxi to Meyzieu Zone Industrielle, which is the first stop of the Rhonexpress tram, and then take the regular Tram T3 direct to Lyon. You'll...More
