I’ve always dreamt of eating a Paul Bocuse inspired meal. L’Institut did not disappoint. We had a tasting menu with over 12 courses. Each was innovative and executed brilliantly. The tastes were complex and refined while being familiar and approachable. The entire facility is run...More

We were surprised to find that they had a place for us the next day for lunch (dinner was fully booked). The atmosphere is very good and friendly. Nice-casual dress code. The food was good and beautifully plated. The service was a bit young and...More

I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough. We moved to Lyon in July and a colleague recommended this venue as a good introduction to the city. We booked for a Friday night dinner and had zero expectations not even knowing the details in advance and...More

This restaurant just makes my day! From the snacks (cheese cake and tomato & olive cake), to the seared tuna and poached foie gras with beet root and strawberries to the duck breasts and the mango dessert, I would say the service, the food and...More

We had a great lunch here and enjoyed the chique though informal atmosphere. You can watch the cooks preparing the meals and service is very good. Not too expensive, refined menu (3 courses/39 euro’s). Must do when you’re in Lyon.
