An enchanting area with lots of history as well as restaurants, shops., It is advisable to take a tour of the church and the traboules as well

Cobble stone streets which are narrow, and something new to discover with every turn. Comfortable shoes recommended. Must stop at one of the cafes.

We had a lot of fun just wandering around Vieux Lyon and the Saint Jean quarter...lots of fun shops, cafes, picturesque little streets.

Loved seeing all the silk shops and the bakeries and sweet shops. Charming old town in a busy modern city. Lots to see as you walk.

Walking around in this part of Lyon is like going back in time. The narrow streets, the old houses, the Traboules - the speciality shops and much more. Not to forget the Bouchons serving old fashioned Lyonaise dishes.
