Park is a big, beautiful space to spend a bit of time in Lyon. There is a free zoo, which doesn't give the animals much space, though I gather they do a lot of important conservation work. Nice area though.

This is one of the largest public parks in Europe. You can spend a day wondering this park. The park is best to visit during the summer. The park is huge!!!

This huge park is great for a Sunday walk or just for hanging out. In fall the gardens are not blooming, but it still a good place to go.

The zoo is free. You don't see that very often. The park and gardens are nice for a walk or run. Nice landscaping in the garden areas. Good trail system. We were there in cold weather, but it looked like they had boats for rent...More

Lots to see and do in the park, even on a cloudy day that we had. The gardens had some beautiful specimens. We saw about 100 varieties of dahlia in bloom - amazing! Lots of "themed" gardens to walk through. The animal area was quite...More

The daffodils are in full blossom this week already. (March 25th) For Roses, it will highly depend on the weather till late April. But there should be some.
