Easy to see by bicycle

We hired bicycles and found this a great way to see this large parc, which was delightful in the Spring sunshine

We spend 5 hours with the hole family at this parc , wonderful experience. We rent a bike....what a funny day ! We had a tour in a boat ....quite relaxing experience . The most important it has been that our kids enjoyed it . Very beautiful Zoo inside there. Is a must to be visited once you are visiting... More

Everything I am looking for from an urban park, 117 Hectares, a zoo, botanical gardens, lake, play areas, wide open grass areas, just lacking a resto (they have one but it has been closed for the last two years)

Amazing botanical garden, lots of cool animals and great ambience and views. Near tram stops and the art gallery too.

On a sunny Sunday afternoon, this was a great choice to wander around, take in the family-friendly enjoyment and pedal a boat on the lake (well worth a 15 minute queue and reasonable price). The war memorial island is accessed by an under-lake tunnel and the landscaped garden and rose plantation were wonderful to take in at our leisure

This was a very special spot. It includes a Botanical garden, zoo, and several different lakes and trails. Well maintained and beautiful. Many different places to visit, some appropriate for children and families, some for seniors and some for young people. The lake in the middle is interesting. I loved cycling around the place. Would definitely go back.

What a beautiful park! We enjoyed strolling and catching Pokemon at the plentiful pokestops. There is a lake where you can hire boats and great flower displays. It was difficult to find something to eat for lunch in the park so bring your own.

It's a beautiful park... but shouldn't include a Zoo. The animals have very small enclosures. The Lion was pacing up and down and it was very sad to watch. I wouldn't go back because of the zoo, which is a shame because it is such a great park.

A beautiful huge park in the middle of Lyon, 117 acres of green space. Perfect for a stroll, cycle, jog or if you just want to bring a bottle of wine, baguette, some cheese & have a picnic. Also they have a free zoo with plenty of animals to check out and tons of fun activities for kids- carousels, peddle... More

I remember being impressed by the Tete d'Or Park on my first visit to Lyon quite some years ago. It's on the NE corner of the city between the east bank of the Rhone and the railway that runs north from Gare Part-Dieu. I took the Metro from Bellecour to Massena then it was a simple 600yards walk to due... More
