A very charming spot to spend the day. There are paddleboat and oarboat rentals, great greenhouses, lovely gardens and a small zoo, rides and attractions for children abound.

An awesome park, with lake, museums, gardens, and massive green areas to enjoy a picnic. Bring your wine, cheese, baguettes, and everything else, and take advantage of this amazing place.

Had a nice time in the 290 acre park about a third the size of NY Central Park! Nice 40 acre lake, lots of trails and pretty botanical gardens, really nice rose garden and even a nice smaller one as well on other side of lake, mediocre zoo but fun for kids! Park was a nice getaway from city although... More

Great relaxed day although café was expensive. Visit the café at the gates for friendly service with a French approach

Ran around this park in a recent visit to Lyon. What a beautiful place. Not overly sure about the zoo (whilst free of charge, the animals didn't look too happy) but the park was amazing. Very happy I saw it.

Beautiful, large park perfect for a walk or run. They had an interesting bike race at the velodrome they day I visited, and many people (mostly locals) were having a great time there.

Here in the middle of big town who knows there a lot of free here, I was surprised that it's such huge park in the middle if the town, what more it's a zoo as well and the most amazing is free of charge. Love this park....

What an absolutely stunning park, make sure you hire one of the city bikes so you can really explore the whole place. You must go here if you're in Lyon!

We explored only a tiny part of this huge area, seeing the Asian section and the historical rose garden (a real eye-opener), plus some general flower beds and formal gardens. At least two more vsits needed - one day!
