About
This public square, lit up at night by a beautiful 19th-century fountain, is always crowded in the evenings.

The square has a fine fountain, the city hall and the fine arts museum, all stunning achievements in their own right. It is large. A night time visit is also rewarding.

This is a nice square with a number of beautiful buildings as well as a beautifully sculpted fountain. It was also the meeting point for walking tours. Recommended to visit at night as well.

Place des Terreaux is a lovely large square. It is surrounded by some wonderful buildings and these include the Hotel de Ville and the Musee des Beaux Arts de Lyon. In the centre there is a stunning fountain with a bronze sculpture. There are many restaurants, cafes and other stores in the vicinity. Worth visiting.

You can't miss it, can't not pass is, can"t not see it, so it doesn't need a review. But I still want to say it's absolutely lovely a spot.

Beautiful place surrounded with beautiful buildings but there are still too many cars and ongoing renovation works.

The square contains a large statue, some beautiful buildings and a museum. Unfortunately, most of the square was fenced off when I was visiting.

The Statue is far the best thing. The Palace of the Hotel de Ville is a monument to himself. You can visit as well the art museum between both of rivers

Unfortunately there was a lot of construction and fencing up in this square, but the Bartholdi Fountain is in the square and well worth seeing

In my opinion, probably the only place worth seeing in an ugly, dirty city. Ok, a stroll along the banks of the two rivers or on the main street from where you can reach the square is not bad, but I didn't like the atmosphere and the people at all. I didn't feel safe in this city.
