We had a great time with Elise who explained so many things about the neighborhood, the association, and all the local food actors. From cheese, to beer, to coffee or ice cream, we tried a lot of delicious things and enjoyed it very much. Highly recommend !

Great tour and would recommend. The market itself is high class, expertly presented and extremely clean. We had several food and wine pairings and the tour was our introduction to Lyon, Etienne our guide was very attentive and knowledgeable.

I truly enjoyed it and I would recommend it as a must-do whilst in Lyon. The food was excellent, the guide was friendly and knowledgeable and I left with a good understanding of Lyon's place in French gastronomy. Would do it again.

I was expecting the market place to be "old" but the "newness" that did not detract from the experience. Our guide Valentin was a very interesting young man and we spent a very enjoyable morning with him, exploring the market and tasting a variety of fare - cheeses, oysters, meats, chocolates and typical Lyonnaise sweets - many tastings accompanied by very nice wines. It is worth noting that the tastings are substantial so the advice to eat a light breakfast is well heeded.
