I did a photoshoot tour, and Emmanuel was a fantastic photographer and guide during my visit to Lyon. We were able to take a walk through the major tourist sites in Presqu'ile and Vieux Lyon, and he was a great conversationalist throughout. He gave some history along the way, and the photos turned out wonderfully, too!

A wonderful afternoon with Nicolas our guide who took us around Croix-Rousse history and legends! Nicolas speaks perfect English and was extremely knowledgeable and easy going. We went at a nice pace and learned a lot of things! A packed visit of Croix-Rousse in around 2h ish which we won’t forget! We’ve been living in Lyon for just about a year and discovered a lot, we totally recommend this tour and Nicolas!

If you want an instructive introduction to the charms of Lyon old town look no further.
Nicholas is a very knowledgeable and engaging guide. Even though he had a damaged arm he mamaged to show us pictures from his folder; what a trooper!

The two of us had a remarkable and very informative tour with Nicholas. The guy has an incredible data base of facts in his head and knows his subject extremely well. His presentation is also well done and entertaining. Absolutely recommend that you hook up with Nick if you can for this tour.

On a dark and very rainy September evening, Nicholas narrated about the dark unseen Lyon...mesmerising, thought provoking and chilling. I, my sister and daughter loved this tour and can't wait to join the charismatic Nicholas on the mystical Lyon tour in the future. Highly recommended, thank you!

Perfect tour with a lot of interesting stories about the city. Guide Nicolas showed us the main attractions of the city, decorated the tour with mysterieous legends and storries.

Our guide Nicolas has a true passion for Lyon which is infectious! Extremely knowledgeable about the history, architecture, arts, local traditions and cuisine, Nicolas will make you fall in love with his beloved city! We were a group of friends from different backgrounds and Nicolas could communicate and joke in different languages(a real polyglot) which made this tour feel effortless and natural...sunny weather was an extra bonus! We highly recommend this tour for a real taste of vivre a la lyonnaise!

We booked two tours with Nicolas, a morning bike tour and an afternoon walk and tasting. Both were fantastic! He spent extra time with us and taught us about Lyonnaise history, culture, and, gastronomy. If you’re an English speaker you don’t have to worry about a thick accent, as his English is perfect. And even though Nicolas prefers blue cheese on his pizza, I still highly recommend Vivre a La Lyonnaise. ;-)

I am Lyon for work and traveling alone. I am very interested in your Dark Lyon tour but there seems to be a minimum group size. Any exceptions. I am looking for Friday, Feb 28
