Many great landscapes up in the hill. The ride in the cable car to get there is also nice. Besides the views, there are some caves to visit, a military museum, a couple of coffee and gift shops and one restaurant.

One of the best experience in Grenoble I have taken. I strongly recommend to visit. Because of the amazing view from the top of the hill. Easy to reach, the price is 8 euros and even with the reduction for the students and kids.

Detail presented at the top is not interesting and seems to not be maintained. Stretching for something to write. Never mind the 'protection' it was not necessary. But views of Grenoble spectacular and you get a better sense of city layout and universities. Very pretty. Bubble transport was hot and smelly. Walk up dusty, dry and but for pretty views,... More

Head up in a "bubble" and see the views of Grenoble France. Walk around the Bastille and through some caves that are pretty cool. You can see history and imagine the soldiers protecting the city. There are other things you can do at the top for an extra fee. Rock/Adventure Climbing, restaurants....

This ancient fort offers an incomparable view of the city below, 360 degrees. A good restaurant offers the possibility to continue enjoy the view while watching the daylight turn

A nice place on a sunny day ! You can walk up or ride the cable cars (the cable cars cost about 8€ as a retour). The cable cars themselves were an awsome experience but the views from Bastille were just amazing ! When you hop off the cable car go down the stairs and to your left, there is... More

We took a short trip to the Bastille. It's easy to reach with the cable cars. Very nice views of the city, information about the fort available in English. We didn't have time for the Climbing tour / Acrofort thing, but it looked fun!

There's so much up there in Bastile! The view was breath taking. The museum really educative and so many stories of the history at the top. There is a tiny restaurant but best of all were the activities I got to do up there with my friends. We had a go at the zip lines and a little rock climbing!... More

We went up by the cable cars, which themselves gave great views. Once at the top the views are stunning and so many places to see and explore. It is best to get the cars up and walk down, so many steps and very steep.

The cable car was very quick and easy to get in and out of, they hold 6 people though we were lucky enough to have a car all to ourselves. Great views from the Bastille. A very good museum with audio guides.
