CGN tour was very average. The tour is neither guided by a tour guide nor audio.

The boat is not comfortable and they were having people on board more than the boat can accommodate. Despite that it was in July, it was windy, therefore the lac leman jet was not on.
The boat is not very safe and not very clean.

The tour is expensive as nothing is offered not even a guide.

I like coming to Evian on a sunny day and walk along the lake before going for a great lunch. I usually come from Lausanne Switzerland which opposite Evian on the other side of the lake and the trip takes about a half hour. Great excursion from Lausanne

We decided to go to Evian for a day. We took the ferry across lake Geneva. It takes about 45 mins.
In Evian, there is a free train that takes you up the mountain. Its not very well sign posted, so it's best to ask someone. Once up the mountain, you can walk to a view point which is beautiful and you can see back across into Geneva. At the view point there is a large grass area where you can have a picnic.
There is also putt-putt, musical fountains, paddle boards and peddle boats in Evian.

Beautiful place to visit and stroll. We were not staying there. Our trip to this location was to enjoy its entire structure. And the lake is simply what inspires all the place in conjunction with other attractions. It is worth to contemplate and walk, on foot or by car. Very beautiful place!

I just love this area. We've stayed in the French side (as Switzerland is very expensive).
Around the lake there are many vinyards and many small villages.
The views from each side are different but beautiful. you cannot go wrong if you go there. there is something for everyone.
The restaurants are great.
People there are very welcoming and nice (yes, the French were VERY nice and welcoming and very helpful)
I can't wait to get back to Lac Leman

We visited Lac Leman at the Annecy side. Old Town Annecy is an attraction in itself with world famous ice cream and delicious crepes shops sprinkled between souvenir shops and cafes. It's a piece of history.

The walkway in the old town leads onto the banks of Lac Leman where when the weather is good, families come out and enjoy the beautiful park and activities on the banks. There are dinner boats which cruise the lake, and you can see personal sailboats too.

We spent a half day between Annecy and strolling the banks and it was wonderful.

Explore this beautiful part of the lake by walk from Montreux Station to Chillon Castle. Take a picture with a Freddie Mercury's statue and ride a boat. There is not a second to regret here!

Stayed for 3 nights overlooking Lac Leman in January.
Beautiful crystal clear lake with France on one side and Switzerland on the other.
Stayed in Evian les Bains on the French side. Luasanne Switzerland was directly across the lake from us. The lake is surrounded by snow capped mountains on both sides. The views are amazing.

Lots of lovely walks and a running trail lake side. Everywhere was immaculatly clean and there were a number of benches and seating areas where you could sit and admire the views.
There is a ferry boat that will take you from Evian across to Switzerland from the pier near the Hilton hotel.

About an hours drive to Geneva Switzerland and a similar distance to the ski resorts at Chaminox Mont Blanc.

Very peaceful location in winter. Would recommend to other travellers.

A very beautiful lake, peaceful .

My hotel room was overlooking the lake so I was lucky to see the lake during different times of the day and night.

Something about this lakes, calming.

The town itself is small, therefore not great for a long stay.

From an Evian viewpoint, the lake is beautiful. The air was pure and it was very relaxing walking along the promenade next to the lake. The trip across the lake to Lausanne all added to the holiday as did the trip on the electric boat to the impressive Water Gardens
