This lake along with lake Annecy is the most beautiful lake I've seen. I would definitely recommend you go see it if you are in the region and perhaps take a boat trip. Of the towns on the lake I would recommend Evian. Keen photographers...More

We stayed in Monterux close to the lake and had an opportunity to spend evenings at this wonderful scenic and quiet place. Unlike Zurich and Lucern you can go swimming here, chill out with drinks and enjoy the sunset. Nice places to eat as well...More

Evian-les-Bains lake foreshore is a great walk with a lot of natural water fountains dotted about all over the place. They have public toilets and the lake foreshore is well kept with clean walkways right along that is far enough away from the motor traffic....More
