Great trip on the Tour du Mont Blanc with our tour guide Grant. Highly recommended with a very knowledgeable guide who catered for different abilities/requirements within the group.

We were a group of 8 ranging in age from 10 to 50 and we had a fantastic evening with Happy Tracks which catered for all of us. A guided snowshoe under the stars into the wilderness, and the camp with a fire and mulled wine brewing (a delicious non-alcoholic cinnamon and apply punch was also available). We toasted local delicacies over the flames before heading to our fairlight-lit igloo for fondue, wine and digestifs, and a walk back under a full moon. Thanks guys, it was a memorable trip and a must-do for anyone visiting the Chamonix area.

Alta Via 1 is certainly a challenging multi-day hike - we did it over 8 days, covering about 120km in distance, with about 10,000m in ascent and about the same in descent. But it was also a very rewarding experience in terms of the varied scenery we encountered along the route, some of the most beautiful I have seen in the whole of Europe. I was in a small, fun group of people with different backgrounds and experiences which made it even more enjoyable in my opinion. Our guide was very helpful in making us feel comfortable throughout the duration of the hike, and helping us enjoy every moment of our trip. This was definitely an adventure I will not forget for a long time!

Loved every minute. Well organised, great guide (Ian Huyton), and very helpful when faced with a baggage delay that could have ruined my trip. Will definitely look to use Happy Tracks for my next alpine venture.
