Took the Montenvers train from the centre of Chamonix and then used the gondola to get to the staircase to the glacier cave. Great views from start to finish and the cave was an interesting experience given the rate of melt and movement. Poor restaurant...More

Legendary off-piste run on winter time. Crowded on nice days. Don't expect to find too much powder though because there are hundreds of skiers every day. Ski slowly with a guide and enjoy spectacular views. Arrete (entrance) is the most exciting part but at the...More

This is one of the most dramatic view of a glacier you can have. But this is quickly disappearing as the ice is melting at an alarming pace. The view over the valley and its amazing glacier will remain an unforgettable moment for ever!
