Take the train from Chamonix for the easy way to get to the Mer de Glace, or get off at the first cable car station on the Aiguille du Midi cable car and walk from there. You will be rewarded with fantastic scenery, looking back to Mont Blanc or across to the Aiguilles Rouges. The path forks about a mile... More

The train ride to the Mer de Glace was very memorable and once at the top station , you get to see the beautiful Mer de Glace glacier and also a Glacorium explain the changing climate at the place and its history

Epic scenery. The piste itself had some challenging parts but on the whole you ski this run for the beauty of the high Alps and for the tradition of the sport. The climb down the ridge to the start of the piste was unforgettable. We took an alternate route and skied a thousand or so vertical of fresh snow. Don't get... More
