This is the second highest peak in France and can reach the top by taking the train ride available. There are ice caves,a museum up which are quiet attractive. View of the surrounding glacier,valley,near by peaks from the top is worth a visit.

Lovely views and stunning place to visit, But the steps the the Ice cave are NOT suitable for dogs. My spaniel ripped the whole of her toe nail off on the metal grates steps. We had to carry her all the way back up after we realise what she had done.
