ANNECY | Private Walking Tour of Annecy's Historical Center

Visit one of the cutest cities of the Rhône-Alpes region of France: Annecy. It's situated in the Alps, so if you love skiing this is the place for you. Today, you can enjoy a private walking tour of Annecy with a private guide who will take you to all the spots that interest you most!

Also known as the "Second Venice," Annecy has plenty of beauty in store. See the Palais de l'Isle, which was a prison in the 12th century, and for something completely different, move on to cross the bridge of lovers. Another must-see is the gleaming lake of Annecy, inarguably a city highlight. Before you end your day in Annecy, you are also recommended to visit the Old Town, a lovely area full of quaint cafés to keep visitors well-fueled and busy.

If there is any place in particular you would like to go but it is not mentioned in the tour description, just ask your guide and he or she will be happy to take you wherever you want to go.

We hired bikes from Pedal Douce and cycled the 40km loop of Lake Annecy. The bikes (not electric) cost us 14Euro for 4 hours each (28E for the two of us). The bikes were in excellent condition and the English spoken attendants were very polite and helpful.

Decided the best way to see the lake was via cycles, and how right i was. Hired electric bikes and off we went, a few bit stops for the usual coffee, and later a some cool liquid. Most enjoyable and excellent friendly service, good english

we took both an electric bike and standard one. both bikes were very well maintained and served us with no problem. the human service was great, we got anything we needed (lock, rubber band to attache the bag to the bike). the time we used the bike was rounded down, so not only we enjoyed the ride, we also left the shop with an extra smile.

The bike are great, the service even better but what really make it all worth while the prices are perfect. So many other companies want to charge you double and want a 250euro deposit for each bike in cash. I was totally upset that the tourist information office don't mention them at all, gave us every other over charging business. These are the people to go to and have a great time in Annecy, three days bike hire is only 40euros per bike

We rented two hybrid bikes (mountain bike handle bars with skinny tires). The rental process was really simple, leave a driver's license or passport with them as a security deposit, sign a form, then pick if you want a hybrid bike or a cruiser bike. Helmets, baskets and locks are included (if you want them). Bikes were in great shape and we did a nice 30 minute ride down the lake, stopped for lunch and a glass of wine and rode back. $20 euros for 2 hours for two bikes. Very happy with our experience there and they spoke enough English to make the rental process easy for us.
