Exciting drive up to the summit of the only French alp where you can do that. Spectacular views of the French Alps including Mont Blanc and Italy. On a clear day you can pick out Geneva, Switzerland.

We drove a scenic route up to the top of the Semnoz area and were amazed by the beautiful views of the countryside. There are walks, long and short, and we enjoyed a stroll around the top.

On a clear day you get a great view of Mont Blanc, some 70 km to the east. In the summer, lots of cows with bells, enjoying the green altitude grass (1650 m). Several restaurants along the top ridge, along with several places to buy...More

We took the bus from the bus station to the top. There are several stops but just stay on until the end. It’s a flat plateau with 360* views and you can see the Alps on one side and then the valley on the other....More

This was a marvellous day out, worth every euro. The road up was very twisty but that made it more interesting, and the views!
