I did not expect anything when I went to this museum, and I am not disappointed. I was able to discover some magnificent scultpure by Rodin or Carpeaux and Boucher.
I understood why it's a great art museum. I recommend !

A wonderful experience to have when you come to this charming city. The museum propose a good collection of impressionist paintings and also some Rodin sculptures. The entry fee is cheap, so it's a plus, definitely. If you like art, you should make the detour !

Just the right size for seeing in 45 minutes to an hour. A fine collection of Impressionist paintings collected by a local entrepreneur and donated to the city when he died.

This is a nice little museum on the higher fringes of the back of the city (with and entry fee). It is a bright and well laid out experience over 3 floors, the ground being modern/contemporary artwork, second floor painting and top floor is sculpture. There is a sizeable Rodin collection of smaller pieces and some well know impressionist paintings. Certainly worth making the effort if museums/galleries are your thing!

Well worth the time. Numerous smaller Rodin sculptures, an interesting collection of impressionists, and a very good exhibit of watercolors. The museum deserves a well spent hour.

A nice way to spend a couple of hours, spread over 3 floors. Really enjoyed this wee museum. First floor is mainly new exhibitions, second floor lots of impressionist paintings and the third floor is where the Rodins are.

Marvellous presence of Rodin sculptures, it is the second per importance and numbers of pieces in France after the Musee Rodin in Paris. Need to spend some time to appreciate those sculptures.

I always pop in for a look when I'm in the neighbourhood as this museum affords a great opportunity for an intimate engagement with a small but excellent collection of impressionist pieces that big museums cannot provide. Most times I have been I have been one of only a handful of people visiting. As well as the impressionist paintings, the museum has a small collection of interesting pottery and a fairly decent collection of Rodin sculptures.

Staying next door at the Hotel Notre Dame des Eaux, the staff suggested we visit the Musee Faure, which has the 2nd largest collection of Rodin's sculptures in France. The museum is more than this though and over 3 floors has a number of beautiful artworks by some of the worlds greatest artists...Degas, Pissaro, Cezanne etc. Certainly enjoyed the visit.
