We did like strolling alone the water front, past the maritime museum and around the old town. This place has a sense of history and is a lovely cit the statue is really showing civic pride and we did stop and take a photo,

Sorry I meant to say 'nice butt'. a statue that show the towns maritime roots, which are manyfold, but also a sense of humour as the statues bare bottom faces the town.

An interesting nautical themed statue overlooking Toulon’s port area. After a walk along the seafront area from the cruise ship we were travelling on you arrive at the statue, which proudly points out to sea.

Toulon's navigation monument is right on the otherwise boring waterfront. It is a smart reminder of the French city's maritime root. It also forms an interesting landscape.
